A favorite Thai restaurant of mine since arriving on the scene in Utah, we recently decided to do another review since the owners of Thai Siam recently changed hands.
We went mid-week to avoid the weekend crowd, and despite the empty tables, the temperature of the north side of the restaurant was too hot. My guess was they didn’t have enough air conditioner vents to handle the hot afternoon heat of a Salt Lake City summer.
After we moved to the south end of the restaurant, which was MUCH cooler, we settled in and prepared to feast. As usual (we haven’t varied much in our selections) We ordered the seafood salad and the chopped chicken with basil and peppers. The portions were slightly smaller than earlier visits leaving my stomach wondering if we were going to have leftovers to enjoy the next day.
Thai Siam again proved despite the smaller portions that you would get a good meal for a fair price.
