Nearly kitty corner to the Chadders Burgers in West Valley is the newest Salt Lake Valley location of Five Guys Burger Restaurant. You know the proprietors of Chadders are kicking themselves for not knowing about 5 guys lease.
Having only heard of them on a billboard on I-15 in Salt Lake County I wasn’t aware of their chain based origins being from back East. First appearances mimicked another In-n-Out Burger knock-off with a twist.
I ordered a cheeseburger with the basics, lettuce, tomato, raw onion, mayo and mustard not everything and a large order of fries and a coca-cola. I could do without having to recite each and every topping I want, maybe a secret menu guys? Call mine the —> All-American!
A good overall burger, very home style and I really like the simplicity, way too much burger for any sane individual but an occasional indulgence is well worth the drive. I will be back, let’s hope I don’t burn myself out on Five Guys too quick.
