Not our first visit to SLP&P, but definitely the most memorable.
The smell, what was that smell?, an A/C leak, musty water, ick.
The waiter approached, and immediately launched into 5 long specials rattled off so quickly, none sounded particularly appetizing to me. My partner however opted for the salmon special and I ordered my usual build your own pizza with pesto and shrimp.
No soup or salad was offered with the entree specials which was very disappointing. A cool salad on a hot summers eve is always a nice start to any meal. Oh, and did I mention that they serve Pepsi, double ick.
The salmon was rather small for an entree but proved to be ample. Carrots were a bad choice to include in the vegetable medley, being too crisp next to a soggy broccoli.
The shrimp pizza on the other hand had way too much cheese which slid off the pesto sauced crust. One side received the brunt of a hot oven burning a good third of the pizza.
Only one refill of the drink, which always angers my dining companion. He’s always happier with plenty to drink.
Overall, this visit to Salt Lake Pizza and Pasta unfortunately earns a C-
