Visit the Park Cafe Near Liberty Park for a Great Breakfast
The Review
The Park Cafe has been part of Utah's Liberty Park area for many a moons. The line on weekends is always long thus deterring us from visiting the Park Cafe before today.
Parking is a mess as they have only 4 spaces off the road, and a few more tucked in back. Most patrons are forced to park in the adjoining neighborhood.
The wait, was surprisingly shorter than anticipated. Even on the extra cold day, waiting wasn't so bad.
The small one room was filled to the brim, you had to squeeze by the tightly packed tables to get across the restaurant. Signs that the food can't be half bad.
The menu was a simple straight forward breakfast, mostly items of the grill and a few assorted items like pancakes and one special of the day.
The food arrived surprisingly fast, and it was hot, except mind you the hashed brown potatoes. Besides being cold the potatoes had absolutely no flavor. At minimum they should have been salted in the cooking.
The omelet did not have the items folded in during cooking but they overflowed out the edges and the cheese was really hot and melty. Service was good and we never wanted for a refill.
